Mark de Leyos, an IT consultant by profession, is the glutton behind Qwekqwek. Constantly hungry, he is always sniffing and tasting food from place to place; and most of the time, creating dishes in his own tiny kitchen.
Other mainstay contributors are Dudut Cruz and Joyce Mabanta who are also IT professionals and preeminent eaters in Singapore. The duo shows no mercy to anything delicious around the Lion City.

For those unfamiliar with Filipino food culture, the term qwekqwek, sometimes spelled as kwekwek, is a popular street food in the Philippines. It is hard-boiled egg –coated in batter and then, deep fried. Delicious! We believe qwekqwek is a good representation of Filipino cuisine. It’s inexpensive, straight-forward and yet satisfying.
