Arigatou Gozaimasu for Pasta De Waraku

DSC03294(Singapore) – Teriyakidon, Katsudon, Oyakudon, California Maki, Sushi – these delectable delights come into mind when you crave for Japanese cuisine.  Never have we thought that there’s such a thing as a Japanese Casual Pasta & Café Restaurant where they serve superb thinly-thin crust pizza filled with cheese and the works!  They also have creamy wafu sauce-based pasta which will make your mouth water!

When passing by the restaurant – Pasta de Waraku – you can’t help but notice the extensive display of pasta dishes which serve as their “live” sample menu:

These things look like the real thing!  But of course, tastes a lot better than they appear to be!

Our favorites and must-trys:

Salmon and Cheese pizza – this will surely satisfy your cheese cravings and is generously heaped with nicely cooked salmon and mushrooms.

Bacon and Egg Carbonara – bacon strips, cream sauce and whole egg at the top! Yum yum!

Squid Ink Pasta – this is similar to a famous dish in Manila called adobong pusit where squid ink is actually used as a sauce.  Take note:  Not advisable to order on a first date as you won’t be able to flash your pearly whites after eating this!  But for me, it is worth it!!!

  1. hmmm.. i like the black pasta. very interesting. it doesn’t look appetizing but seems like there can be a surprising taste…

  2. Yeah Mark, they all loved it… except me hehe. It was good but it’s just not my type. The first 2 are my favorites, plus the carbonara pizza. We’ll definitely take you there when you swing by Singapore.

  3. it’s quite different for a pasta but it’s very tasty! really tastes a lot like our adobong pusit dish in the philippines!

  4. I will not attempt to point out to you how much i adore sushi, its awesome! It’s trully an art to prepare it the proper way, it required years to master myself but now I truly do make maybe the best sushi in Boston.
