Hubby and I decided to spend this year’s vacation in Melbourne, Australia. For 6 days, we stayed with my aunt’s friend’s family, who was very kind to welcome us in their home. They haven’t met us before this trip, but they still let us stay in their place, how cool is that?!?
On our 1st day, they took us out for lunch at a restaurant near Burnside Heights. We ordered pizza, pasta, risotto, burger and omelette. The staff waiting for our order was super machika, and she looked really cool with her violet highligts and pierced nose. Anyways, back to our food, it was good and the serving size was huge, as in nakakabusog nang bongga. In terms of the price, it’s around 10-15AUD per meal, which I think is worth for its taste and size. And libre pa kami, kaya lalong sumarap
Kaya lang I forgot the name of the restaurant, so pag may nakita kayong pretty waitress with violet highlights and pierced nose, malamang iyun na ‘yon.
That night, we had dinner at Orange Restaurant in Chapel St., Windsor. It was cold that night, but we still preferred to sit outside to feel the ambiance of the place, and the heaters were warm enough anyway. We ordered Fried Calamari, Seared Salmon and Beef Cheek Ragout Pappardelle which were all delicious that I ended up picking food from everybody else’s plate. Their Calamari was the best one I’ve had so far, ang fresh ng lasa, and it’s not oily. I wondered how they did that? Nabitin naman si hubby sa food nya, so he requested for additional pasta for his Pappardelle, and the chef gave him a whole serving (yes, pati yung beef cheek) at no extra charge! The overall ambiance was good kaya feeling high society kami dun, and very friendly ang mga staff. Plus the food was really really good. Although I think they’re a bit expensive with their meals from 20-30AUD, but keme lang ulit kasi libre din ito =) When I checked the internet, there were lots of negative reviews, but based on our personal experience, we would still come back to this place, as long as it’s libre, hahaha! If you’re interested to try their food, here’s their address — 126 Chapel St. Windsor 3181 VIC.
